Bao Mingxiao, director of the China Sports Economic Research Center of the Sports Science Research Institute of the State Sports General Administration of China, also believes that the marathon has become a booster for promoting urban reform and development, innovative development, high-end development, characteristic development, shared development, and green development in China.

Ding Shuibo, chairman of the board of directors of Tebu Co., Ltd., believes that participating in the marathon will promote Tebu to shift from a sporting goods manufacturer and pure event sponsorship to a comprehensive service, and extend to the public sports service. In his view, events, equipment, services and social networking will be the breakthrough direction of Chinese sports brands.

China Marathon, a sunrise industry, Wang Nan, vice chairman of the China Association of Athletics, spoke highly of the contribution of marathon to Chinese sports, but also admitted that marathon has not gained its due position in the sports industry. Marathon still owes a reasonable income to Chinese marathon enterprises.

Wang Nan revealed that in the next five years, the China Athletics Association will be committed to the overall layout of China's marathon industry, using policies as leverage and guidance, coordinating social resources and social relations, and helping enterprises develop.

It can also be observed from this marathon expo that the 26000-square-meter expo attracted 145 exhibitors, including not only domestic and foreign road running event operators, but also all-round event service organizations such as event timing system, logistics, insurance, intellectual property protection, registration system, photography, medal and other derivatives development, there are also diversified products and well-known sponsors of running equipment, running fashion, health and fitness, sports tourism, sports media, which bring together the complete industrial chain of the marathon industry and show the development prospects of the industrial belt.
